Buttermilk Brownies

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp almond extract
  • 1 cup salted butter, melted
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Spray or grease a 13" x 9" pan. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar and cocoa powder.
  • Stir in buttermilk, eggs and extracts.
  • Stir in melted butter until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Pour into prepared pan.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until fork inserted in middle comes out clean.
  • Cool in pan.
  • Cut into 16 squares and serve.
