Homemade Sausage Rolls

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 pound ground sausage meat
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 envelope Sauzon Goya
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix together meat, bread crumbs, egg, Sauzon Goya, salt, and pepper.
  • Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface, until it's about ¼ inch thick
  • Cut pastry into 3 rectangle sections
  • Spoon sausage onto the centre of each section forming a line down the middle of the long side.
  • Bring sides together to form a long "log"
  • Seal sides together and turn log so that seam is on the bottom
  • Repeat with other sections of pastry
  • Cut each log into 2 inch pieces.
  • Place seam side down on parchment lined pan
  • Brush with beaten egg
  • Bake in preheated oven for 15-18 minutes
  • Allow to cool for 3-5 minutes before serving

Notes

If cooking in the air fryer, skip the egg wash and air fry on 425ºF for 12-15
