Ingredients
  

  • 12-16 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

Marinade

  • 2 jalapenos, diced
  • 1 small white onion, diced
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 limes, zest and juice
  • cup silver tequila
  • 2 Tbsp agave syrup
  • 1 Tbsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, mix together all marinade ingredients.
  • Place chicken thighs in the marinade, covering all chicken in marinade.
  • Remove chicken thighs from the fridge 30 minutes before cooking and let rest at room temperature.
  • Cover and refrigerate for minimum 2 hours, and up to 12 hours.
  • Heat BBQ to 350°F
  • Grill chicken thighs on heated BBQ, 7-10 minutes per side.
  • Chicken is ready when internal temperature reaches 165°F. Do not overcook the chicken.
  • Remove from grill and allow to rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.
