How To Use This Rub

Our favourite way to use this rub is for smoked ribs. We also use this rub on pork tenderloins and pork chops.

Another way we like to use this rub is on turkey breasts before smoking them. Add our Apple Cider BBQ Sauce as a glaze in the final minutes of cooking to complement the apple pie spices.

This rub can be used to rub meat for smoking or it can be sprinkled lightly on meat before grilling.

With the seasoning with a little apple cider or apple juice and olive oil to create a marinade for pork chops.

Pulled pork is another great way to use BBQ Apple Pie Rub. Rub it on a pork shoulder or butt before smoking. Then sprinkle some in the meat after pulling it with BBQ sauce to create the filling for pulled pork sandwiches.

Sprinkle over vegetables like before grilling. The flavours in this rub are great with root vegetables like sweet potatoes and carrots.

Storing This Spice Rub

Once made, this spice rub will keep fresh in an air-tight container for up to 3 months in the cupboard.
